Description: Whispering
Pines Farm and Garden is a 50 acre farm
located 5 minutes south-east of Wasaga
Beach, 30 minutes north-west of Barrie.
We currently have beef cattle, CSA vegetable
garden (June to October) and chickens
which will be available late June. Our
CSA vegetable garden is growing vegetables
using the old fashion way using crop rotations,
hand weeding and manure from the cattle.
No herbicides, pesticides, genetically
modified seed and/or any other chemicals
are used. Our cattle are a cross of Hereford/Limousine/Red
Angus and are a closed herd. Our cattle
are grass-fed and free from hormones and/or
any by-products used to stimulate growth
and/or production.

Winter and Summer Squashes, Tomatoes,

Description:
Sandy Acres Farm, located in Thunder Bay,
is a third generation farm that has been
in operation since 1958. Our primary focus
is on beef but we also offer pork and
vegetables in season. We pride ourselves
on our high quality beef that are born
and raised on the farm. Our Limousin and
Black Angus livestock are not exposed
to growth hormones, antibiotics, or animal
by-product feed. During summer months
they graze on pasture land; through the
winter months they are fed high quality
hay and grain produced on the farm. Our
lean pork is given the same care that
the cattle receive, producing and the
highest quality product possible. Our
standards are high because we believe
in bringing quality to your plate.

Description: FoodCycles is a city
farm not-for-profit in Toronto that inspires
people to raise worms, make nutritious,
vibrant compost and grow food. The vision
is to create a just and ecological urban
food system that encourages all people
to come together to grow, learn about,
and celebrate food in Toronto. FoodCycles
has been operating since 2008 out of a
space in Downsview Park, directly at Sheppard
and Keele, where we lease a small greenhouse
and one acre of land form the park. This
is the first year we will be operating

our commitment to engaging the community
in food production.

We offer a weekly CSA program throughout

program we participate in the Ontario
CRAFT program, offer biology and sustainability
based workshops to the community, encourage
our members to come enjoy our 300 acres,
and actively engage in land stewardship.

We are a
family run farmm and have been in business
in ontario since 1841, we still have relatives
who farm the original farm in scotland.
We have been doing csa since about 1930
,staring with beef , chicken, and pork,
delivered door to door on a weekly basis,
currently we offer fresh produce, eggs
, pork, jams and preserves. We no longer
offer delivery service. csa programs are
individually tailored to each persons
budget and desires. apply in person at
the farm. directions are on our website.

Description:
The
Tikkun Adamah CSA is a partnership between
the Cutting Veg Organic Farm and the Kavanah
Organic Community Teaching Garden. Cutting
Veg farmer, Daniel Hoffmann, will grow
and source the localest, organicest, tastiest
produce and pick-up will happen at the
Kavanah Garden in Vaughan. While the Tikkun
Adamah CSA is based at a Jewish community
campus, the CSA is open to ALL community
members committed to supporting sustainable
food systems.
