We are pleased to announce the launch
of our Pasture-raised Meat CSA for 2011.

supports your local small-scale farmer?

Share the vision, buy a share: Shares
in the Stoddart Family Farm Meat CSA
are simply based on pounds per month.
Each delivery is freshly processed at
a licensed provincial abattoir and flash
frozen to preserve quality. All orders
include a range of meat, some months
may be more beef and pork, other months
there may be more lamb and poultry.
Each order will be comprised of a mix
of ground, stew, chops, roasts, sausage
and steaks and sometimes bacon or ham.
For those of you without a chest freezer,
our program is ideal - a 10 pound share
takes less than a quarter of the space
in a fridge-freezer.
2011 Winter Share
The Winter Share will run from February
to May (4 deliveries). It will include
beef, pork, and lamb. The beef and lamb
are grass-fed. The pork will be our
usual offering of pasture-raised Berkshire
pork. Price: $330 for 10 pounds/month
for the 4 months. Your cost is $8.25/pound.
2011 Main Season Share
The main season share will run from
June to November (6 deliveries). It
will include beef, pork, lamb and chicken.
The beef and lamb are grass-fed. The
chicken and pork will be our usual offering
of pasture-raised meats. Price: $495
for 10 pounds/month for the 6 months.
Your cost is $8.25/pound.
Pasture-raised Egg Shares
From May to November the hens reside
in the "Stoddart Eggspress" hen wagon
and move around the pastures. In winter,
they reside in our greenhouse and venture
outside when they choose. You can choose
either 2 or 4 dozen per monthly delivery.
