My vegetable list for summer 2007 included: Early greenhouse harvest started in May with: pickling cucumbers, tomatoes, leaf lettuce, lettuce mixes, radishes, sweet peppers, green onions, and basil. By June: peas, beans, beets, carrots, and good quantities of lettuce and field greens. Other crops included: broccolli, cauliflower, hot peppers, sweet corn, potatoes.

18 Years experience growing vegetables! My specialty is growing early field varieties of tasty vegetables under greenhouse and field tunnels using ecological methods. I use no pesticides, herbicides or fungicides. Pests are controlled using Integrated Pest Management practices including beneficial insects, beneficial bacteria and fungi, intercropping, companion planting and crop rotation. Spanish River Carbonatite is used as an organic soil amendment to increase pH, along with a good supply of on-farm composted peat moss and manure. Why wait for August for healthy veggies and herbs when you can book a CSA share? Priority will be given to CSA customers over farm gate sales, then farmer's markets customers.
