Farmers Market Convention

On a quarterly basis, we host an event where farmers, partners, and customers can exchange information about how to buy, sell, and trade their products. We provide booths, snacks and refreshments, and a safe, comfortable space for the public. These are organized in different venues around the area, and people of all ages are welcome to join.

We also partner with professionals from all over the country to host workshops/seminars or sponsor our event. The event is free of charge and is open to the public. For concessionaire applications or partnership proposals, contact us to discuss your ideas.

I Was Thinking About Making my House or Shop into a Pickup Location. Is it Possible?

For now, we recommend to CSA farms to only accept commercial establishments as pickup locations. You may contact us for more information about the process and requirements.

I’m Not Satisfied with my Share. What Can I Do About This?

We’re sorry to hear that. Please let the farm know as soon as possible, and they will find a solution to your issue.

I Would Like to Use my Eco-bags or Homemade Packaging for my Share. Will That Be Alright?

Thank you for the suggestion! However, for consistency, farms normally use their eco-friendly packaging to maintain the quality of their produce. You may bring your packaging during the Swap Meet or when you’re purchasing goods from their farm, stalls, or partner establishments.

What Kinds of Vegetables are Included in Each Basket?

CSA farms normally harvest more than 30 types of vegetables on their farm; some of these are grown regularly and the others are either brand-new additions or seasonal goods. For example, farms regularly grow strawberries, eggplants, potatoes, asparagus, and green onion.

During June, farms add beets, blueberries, and kale to their list. With those in mind, you can expect a basket filled with those types of produce.

What if There Are Certain Vegetables that I Cannot Eat?

You may drop by at any of the farm’s partner establishments or the farm itself to swap your vegetables for different goods. Every month farms normally have a weekly “Swap Meet” at the farm where their CSA members can bring vegetables or other items they would like to trade.
